Great to see this lesser known single malt which has very few official releases bottled at a younger age. to show off its fresh, floral new make character that develops into a charming and light single malt,
Distilled on 25th July 2008 and aged for 9 years in a first fill Ex-Bourbon barrel.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright pale gold with sunlit honey tones and a delicate amber rim.
Nose
Bright, waxy lemon rises with floral-honey sweetness, toasted barley and oats, leafy herbal notes, and a touch of freshly baked choux pastry; a milky rice pudding core lingers, framed by soft vanillin oak and almond.
Palate
Almond nougat and marzipan with vanilla-tinged spiced oak; preserved lemons and poached pears drift in an aromatic syrup, delivering bright fruit and a refined, balanced sweetness on the palate.
Finish
Firm and dry, with waxy lemon, vanilla and almond, a touch of late peppery oak and lingering green apple slices.
