This 20 year old single cask release of Miltonduff was finished in a Madeira cask. Miltonduff is highly prized by blenders, but is less commonly seen as a single malt. This cask strength bottling is rich and full bodied, with flavours and aromas of sweet honeycomb, nuts, chocolate, and spice. The cask yielded 413 bottles.

Colour
Rich amber with copper-gold highlights and a mahogany edge, a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
Opulent honey and warm toffee lead the nose, with toasted almonds and dark chocolate. Madeira cask influence weaves in dried fig and raisin, plus caramel and spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—under a touch of oak. Rich, inviting and surprisingly lively, hinting at the cask-strength depth to come.
Palate
Opulent, full-bodied palate with cask-strength presence. Honeycomb sweetness coats the tongue, joined by toasted nuts and dark chocolate. Madeira finish injects dried fruit notes—fig and raisin—plus toffee and baking spice, as cinnamon and clove weave through rich oak. Silky yet powerful, it carries a velvety mouthfeel and lingers with a warm, spice-kissed finish.
Finish
Opulent, long finish with Madeira sweetness lingering beside honeycomb, toasted nuts and cocoa. Warming spice evolves into dried-fruit notes of fig and apricot, then fades on a lingering echo of oak and gentle heat.
