Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden straw with a warm, sunlit amber hue.
Nose
Fresh peach with creamy buttered oak, marzipan and poached pears in vanilla syrup; apple puree, rice pudding with a touch of floral honey; candyfloss green grapes and a light dusting of icing sugar.
Palate
A chorus of spicy peach and marzipan opens into white chocolate and buttery vanilla sponge cake; apple chutney and aromatic oak weave with melon and ginger for a warm, balanced finish.
Finish
Stewed apple and peach Melba linger on a silky, aromatic finish, with stock syrup sweetness, toasted vanilla and sugared almonds, bright yellow plums, and a lasting note of spice wrapped in creamy oak.
