A single pot still whiskey matured in Ex-Sherry and Ex-Bourbon casks before being finished in French Chestnut wood casks.
Non chill filtered.
An experimental and enjoyable Irish pot still Whiskey with the first use of Chestnut wood (to my knowledge?) as a wood finish.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Tinned peaches in syrup, toasted vanilla and cinnamon (French toast) aromatic oak, mint and chocolate, cherry, liquorice and chestnut puree.
Palate
Quite aromatic and spicy delivery with decent weight (syrupy) body. Cherry jam, ripe orchard fruits, menthol, chocolate, banana toffeee and praline.
Finish
More sweet and aromatic spices, tinned peaches in syrup with toasted hazelnuts, cherry menthol and fragrant oak.
