A distillery only bottling of Ledaig that was finished in Spanish Moscatel casks for 3 years after initial maturation in refill bourbon casks. A release of 858 bottles and bottled at cask strength of 53.1% abv.
Rich wine notes on the nose with toffee caramel, balanced with black pepper and smoke. The palate is rich with sweet oak and grapes, fruity citrus and a rich spicy smoke. The finish is long and lingering with rich sweet smokiness.
