Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery shimmer and a warm mahogany edge, a sunset-hued, sherry-warmed glow.
Nose
Coastal peat and sea-salt open the nose, with a delicate iodine edge. Sherry threads through—candied orange, fig, and dark chocolate—woven with polished oak. Leather, tobacco and gentle spice deepen the bouquet, leaving a maritime, old-world gravitas that speaks of decades quietly maturing in cask.
Palate
Elegant, softly peated palate with coastal brine and a gentle sweetness. Layers of dried plum and raisin mingle with dark chocolate, toffee, and spice from the sherry cask. Subtle oak underpinning, silky texture, and a restrained warmth. Long finish of smoky ash, sea-salt, and leather.
Finish
Long, peaty finish with coastal smoke and a whisper of iodine. Dried fruit and cocoa unfold, warmed by subtle sherry sweetness and refined oak spice. The mouthfeel coats softly, tapering to a lingering, resinous smoke that persists with elegant, maritime character.
