At cask strength, this Knockdhu delivers a bold, velvety palate. Rich dried fruit and dark chocolate mingle with caramel toffee, orange zest and a whisper of almond. Spices—nutmeg, clove—and a robust oak backbone mingle with a faint sherry sweetness, coating the tongue with warmth that finishes long and dry, with a lingering peppery cut.
