Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery-ruby highlights and a warm, honey-gold glow.
Nose
Sherry-seasoned richness floods the nose, with orchard-fruit sweetness giving way to dried figs, raisins and dates. Orange zest and almond paste mingle with cocoa, caramel and vanilla, while warm spice—cinnamon and clove—drifts over soft oak. A refined, old-world elegance evokes leather-bound libraries and well-kept casks, inviting a measured, contemplative sip.
Palate
Silky and medium-bodied, with dried cherries, raisins and fig mingling with dark chocolate, toasted almond and orange zest. Sherry-cask richness glides with vanilla and caramel, yielding a measured spice that lingers in a long, warming oak-driven finish.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish with sherry-influenced sweetness that lingers like dusk on a velvet palate. Dried plum and fig give way to toasted almond, orange zest, and a whisper of spicy oak. Cocoa and leather fade slowly, leaving a warm, enduring glow and the memory of a rare Speyside treasure.
