Jura The Paps Single Malt Scotch Whisky 19 Year Old
In stock
At journey’s end in the heart of Jura’s island, you’ll find them: The Sacred Mountain, The Mountain of the Sound and The Mountain of Gold. These are The Paps of Jura, which tower over the landscape for miles around, commanding respect from visitors and the tiny island community alike.
The whisky bearing the name has been crafted to be as striking as The Paps themselves. This Jura 19-year-old single malt whisky is initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in casks that have previously held an astonishing 40-year-old Pedro Ximénez sherry. Rich, sweet and spicy, this whisky delivers flavours of ginger cake, vanilla, spiced pear and balsamic glaze, before a long, nutty finish.
