Jura Superstition Slightly Peated Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Out of stock
A lightly peated variation of Jura that was discontinued in early 2018.
Matured in ex-Bourbon casks, this is a sweet, smooth whisky with vanilla, honey and spice with a little bit of smoke on the nose and palate. Probably the closest of the old bottlings to the new Jura flavour profile.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden honey with a sunlit amber glow.
Nose
Shy yet inviting, the nose opens with warm vanilla and honey, braided with soft spice and a faint, smoky veil. A touch of oak sweetness and a whisper of peat linger, hinting at Jura’s lightly peated profile.
Palate
Silky and lightly creamy on the palate, vanilla and honey drive the sweetness, shaded by gentle spice. Subtle peat smoke intrudes, lingering with smooth Bourbon oak and a warm, balanced finish.
Finish
Long and silky, the finish coats with creamy vanilla and honey, lightly spiced. A soft peat whisper lingers as bourbon sweetness fades, leaving a warm, comforting glow and a brief peppery finish.
