Nose

Very aromatic spices evoke a Turkish market, layered with earthy red berries like rain-washed strawberries, plus dried figs and dates, with Sherry oak underpinning and whispers of old tea-chest wood, finished by toasted pecan nuts in honey and a touch of cigar-box aroma.

Palate

Malty honeycomb with banana bread opens to aromatic bonfire smoke of camphor wood and cinnamon. Juicy, mellow body with mocha, walnut, ginger and dark fruit, cassis cordial.

Finish

Apple candyfloss on bonfire night, caramac bars and tunnocks toffee wafers, the sweet and aromatic smoke continues into fruity liquorice and banana chips with late black forest fruit and earthy wood notes.
