A well made and well balanced offering. This has a great combination of sweet fruit flavours, abundant wood spice, and subtle hints of smoke.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Warm, burnished amber with golden honey hues and a subtle coppery glow.
Nose
An aromatic bouquet of berry fruits, with toasted hazelnuts and a touch of aniseed spice. Blueberry muffins mingle with lemon balm, toasted toffee and vanilla wafers, while a gentle smoke threads through—subtler than Jura’s 10- or 12-year-old expressions.
Palate
Thick, luxurious mouthfeel with a generous blueberry and forest fruit core, layered with toffee, hazelnut and praline. Ginger biscuit spice weaves through a solid oak backbone, while a final wave of smoke lingers—like hot chocolate warming by a bonfire.
Finish
Bittersweet chocolate lingers with orange marmalade and French toast, then folds in toffee-apple sweetness against a whisper of charred wood. The finish tightens with red berry fruit-tea tannins, leaving a warm, spicy echo that lingers long after the sip.
