20 years old and from malt aged in First fill Ex-Bourbon, Sherry, Sparkling Cabernet Franc, Cabernet sauvignon and Pinot Noir wine casks.
Bottled at natural cask strength, non chill filtered and natural colour.
A very moreish Jura dripping with dark fruit and earthy treacle toffee richness, after the success of the wine cask influenced One For The Road and Tastival releases, this for me is up there with the best this distillery has ever released.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Natural amber-gold with coppery highlights, deepening to a wine-stained mahogany edge.
Nose
Earthy treacle toffee with gingercake, fruity liquorice (strawberry laces), and fruit-and-nut chocolate. A drizzle of sweet-heather honey and distant smoke, finishing with red berry compote on sultana bread toast.
Palate
Big, rich and luxurious on the palate, a medley of dried figs, prunes and dates with black cherries, blackberries and plums. Treacle toffee, sticky ginger cake and honey-smoked nuts meet dark chocolate and earthy liquorice, delivering plush sweetness framed by spice and a subtle, lingering smoke.
Finish
Earthy forest fruits linger, with sweet, rich dried fruit draped in honeyed toffee; chocolate-covered raisins persist, finishing with a whisper of bonfire smoke and toasted cinnamon.
