Colour

Nose

Rich vanilla and toffee from first-fill bourbon, with red-fruit lift from Burgundy cask. Juicy cherry and fig mingle with orange zest; sherry butt adds velvety raisins, dark prune, toffee, and cocoa. A touch of almond, spice and leather rounds the core, while a whisper of sea-salt hints at Jura’s coastal charm.

Palate

On the palate it unfolds in layers: vanilla and caramel from first-fill Bourbon mingle with red-fruit spice from the Burgundy barrique, while the 1963 Oloroso sherry butt lends walnut, fig and dark chocolate. Rich, full-bodied and velvety, with a warming kick and a long, nutty finish.

Finish

Long, opulent finish with warm vanilla and caramel from the Bourbon backbone, layered by red-fruit and spice from the Burgundy cask, and a lush, nutty sherry sweetness from the Oloroso butt. Dried fig and cocoa mingle with toasted oak and orange zest, finishing with a coastal, slightly saline lift that lingers elegantly.
