Aged in a top quality Ex-Bourbon cask from a 1995 distillation.
A big and bold Jura release that really comes alive with a drop (or two) of water, depending on how much you like spicy first fill Bourbon cask aged malt.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a warm, sunlit honey glow.
Nose
Earthy red berries mingle with hot butterscotch and vanilla-toffee wafers, while golden syrup coats toasted raisin pancakes. Stewed rhubarb and strawberry meet a balsamic edge, all crowned by charred oak and a whisper of floral notes.
Palate
Spicy and robust, it delivers chilli-flake chocolate with a punch of hot pepper and red berry compote. Fruity liquorice threads through, while hot butterscotch lends sweetness that drives brambly, crunchy tannins to a long, warming finish.
Finish
Peppery honeycomb opens the finish, giving way to a blaze of spicy red berries. A chilli-flake heat threads through syrupy breakfast notes, while dark chocolate anchors the palate. Charred orange rind adds a smoky zest, leaving a warm, cocoa-laced finish with a refined peppery linger.
