Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with copper-gold highlights and a mahogany edge.
Nose
Sherry-kissed velvet on the nose: raisins, fig, and dried apricot mingle with oak-aged vanilla and toffee. Rich mahogany and leather intertwine with cocoa nibs and a whisper of orange zest. Subtle spice—clove and nutmeg—lifts the aroma, while a warm, cellar-aged sweetness lingers, hinting at decades in sherry-soaked casks.
Palate
Silky on the palate, dried fruit and dark caramel unfold into fig and raisin with a hint of orange zest. Sherry sweetness cushions almond, toffee and cocoa, while refined oak adds depth. A whisper of clove and nutmeg weaves through the old wood, finishing long, warm, and nutty.
Finish
Long, silky finish that unfolds with baked fig and toffee, carried by a delicate sherry sweetness. Hints of dried orange, almond and cocoa emerge, tempered by warm oak and an insinuation of spice, fading to a refined, creamy lingering glow.
