Released in December 2011, the 1976 Vintage is the fifth release in the Orcadian Vintage Series. The result of lengthy maturation in American oak, this Vintage delivers a lighter, tropical fruit and floral flavour, combined with the classic Highland Park sweet, smoky balance.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with a warm, sunlit honey glow and soft coppery highlights.
Nose
Light and fresh, the nose offers melon and mango lifted by freshly cut resinous wood. A buttery note arrives late, then the classic heather sweetness, hallmark of the Highland Park balance.
Palate
Floral from the first sip, evoking heather in bloom on Hobbister Moor, with marzipan and coconut unfolding, finishing in honey-coated almond.
Finish
Lingering balance of wood and cream, never dominant, with a soft violet veil smoothing the finish.
