Despite the occasional small batch variation, the Highland Park 25 Year Old remains one of the iconic Single Malts and is an absolute must for the whisky drinker and also a shoe in for any collection of great Single Malts. Matured in a combination of ex-sherry and bourbon casks and bottled at 45.7% abv, (slightly lower than previous 25 year old expressions). This is sorf and rounded with dark chocolate, fudge, heather and honey. The palate also has a nutty and toffee core wrapped around plenty of dried fruit. A classic.

Soft and rounded on the nose, sherry and bourbon cask influence delivering a warm, confectionery richness. Dark chocolate and fudge mingle with delicate heather and honey, while dried fruit and nutty notes drift through the aroma, all wrapped in refined oak.
Palate
Soft and rounded on the palate, with dark chocolate and fudge at the core, threaded with honey and a whisper of heather. A nutty toffee heart envelops generous dried fruits, all riding a seamless sherry-bourbon cask influence. Polished, balanced, and lingering with refined sweetness.
Finish
Soft and lingering, the finish coats the palate with dark chocolate and fudge, woven with honey and nutty toffee. Dried fruits linger, touched by a kiss of sherry, with a final, heathery sweetness that slowly fades to a refined, warm glow.
