Colour

Deep amber with a warm, bronzed copper glow and mahogany undertones.

Nose

Golden sugar caresses dark cherry and soft spice, while orange zest brightens the nose. Pressed apples mingle with nutmeg and a whisper of smoke, offering a plush, inviting aroma with a hint of sherry sweetness.

Palate

Sweet fruitcake with a hint of dried tobacco, butterscotch coming to the fore alongside ripe red apple and a delicate whisper of garden mint.

Finish

Medium to long, the finish lingers with fruit and spice, as butterscotch and ripe red apple echo, finished with a delicate minty warmth.

(HY-land PARK) Highland Park was founded in Kirkwall in 1798, with the distillery tracing its start to Magnus Eunson, who obtained his first whisky-making licence that year.
