Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery undertones and a honey-gold glow, rich and inviting, like sunset over lacquered wood.
Nose
Ripe plums mingle with new leather, dark chocolate, rich barley and aromatic biscuity grain, finishing with honeycomb.
Palate
Rich toffee and aromatic spices lead the palate, with stewed plums, marzipan and sherry-soaked orange segments lending a luscious, fruity depth. A silky mouthfeel and measured warmth echo through a lingering, well-balanced finish.
Finish
A dessert-like finish of rum and raisin fudge, spiced vanilla cheesecake, and plum jam on French toast.
