Heaven Hill Parkers Heritage Collection 2016 Bourbon Whiskey 24 Year Old · 1990 Vintage
Out of stock
Each year as part of the Parker's Heritage Collection, Heaven Hill select a special whiskey to be released in the name of their late Master Distiller Parker Beam. The barrels selected for this series include Bourbon, Rye, and Wheat Whiskeys, among others, and are some of the finest and most diverse American Whiskeys ever produced. They are a fitting tribute to the expertise of Parker Beam.
2016 marks the 10th year of this special annual release and is probably the oldest bottled-in-bond Bourbon in the world and will probably go down as one of the all time classics.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-bronze depth, softly tinged with mahogany at the edge and kissed by warm golden honey highlights.
Nose
Polished oak and toasted vanilla lay the stage, veiled in caramel and dark honey. Dried fig and prune lend fruit depth, while cinnamon, clove and nutmeg weave through tobacco, leather, and a whisper of espresso. The finish carries warm oak resin and caramelized sugar, elegant yet bold—an aged, regal bourbon with rare complexity.
Palate
Opulent and velvety, this 24-year-old bourbon coats the palate with burnished toffee, caramel and vanilla, deepened by dark chocolate and dried fig. Layered oak carries cinnamon and clove spice, with a touch of black pepper for lift. The mouthfeel is lush and substantial, finishing long with tobacco, leather and espresso-tinged oak lingering.
Finish
An exceptionally long, luxurious finish that lingers with sweet caramel and vanilla edging into deep, toasted oak. Dried fruit and subtle leather emerge, carried by cinnamon and clove spice, tapering to a warm, contemplative fade where barley sweetness settles into a velvet, oak-drawn goodbye.
