Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with coppery undertones and a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry influence pours through with riches of raisin, fig and orange zest, layered over polished oak. Dark chocolate, espresso and toasted almond mingle with warm spice, inviting a long, velvety finish.
Palate
Silky and weighty on the palate, this Glenturret bears a lush sherry-tinged sweetness—ripe plum, fig and cocoa melded with toffee and dark chocolate. Cinnamon and nutmeg rise alongside orange zest and toasted almond for lift. A creamy, velvety core coats the tongue, with oak weaving through the warmth of its 54.4% ABV.
Finish
Long and elegant, this finish coats the palate with a velvet trail of toffee and raisin, hints of cocoa and spice, as sherry sweetness fades to warm oak and a final ember of pepper.
