A slightly less well known Speysider, this is the 5th batch of Glentauchers by TBWC. A whisky for fans of a lighter more delicate style of whisky (much of this distillery's output goes into the Ballantines blend) A 17 year old single malt bottled at a cask strength of 53% abv and a release of just 191 bottles.
Lightly fruity on the nose with pear, barley and floral delicacy. The palate is fresh with green apple, cut grass and spicy oak. The finish is gentle and slighty warming with a slightly waxy orange sweetness.
