Colour

Deep amber with a copper-gold sheen and subtle mahogany undertones.

Nose

Sherry-forward and opulent, the nose opens with ripe orchard fruits—apple and pear—blended with dried fig and raisin and a drizzle of treacle. Caramel, vanilla and toffee mingle with orange zest, cinnamon, and cocoa, all resting on polished oak with a whisper of leather and tobacco.

Palate

Opulent and full-bodied, with a lush, oily texture. Dark plum, fig and orange zest mingle with chocolate, toasted almond and praline. Spicy warmth of clove and cinnamon threads through, supported by polished oak. Long, decadent finish with lingering sherry sweetness and a coffee-tinged nib.

Finish

The finish lingers with honeyed oak, cocoa nibs, and dried cherry, warming the palate with noble spice; a long, contemplative fade of toasted nut and resin, carried by the cask-strength warmth.
