Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a warm honey glow.
Nose
Opulent aromas of orchard fruit and creamy malt rise from the glass. The cognac finish lends luxurious warmth with dried apricot, candied orange peel, raisins, and honeyed toffee. Spices—cinnamon and clove—layer over toasted oak, with hints of almond, pear, and delicate florals, yielding a refined, inviting bouquet that promises elegance on the palate.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied palate, orchard fruit and citrus zest giving way to rich dried fig and apricot. Vanilla-caramel coats the mid-palate as cognac-cask influence brings warm spice, white pepper, and a hint of leather. Cocoa notes mingle with toasted oak, finishing long with raisiny sweetness and refined cognac warmth.
Finish
Elegant, long finish with cognac-infused warmth. Dried apricot and orange zest mingle with vanilla and almond as silky caramel drapes the palate. Gentle spice and toasted oak linger, leaving a refined, cognac-tinted echo that slowly fades to a mellow, sophisticated finale.
