Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depth and coppery highlights.
Nose
Opulent and refined, the nose opens to rich sherried fruit—dark plum, raisin and fig—woven with honeyed vanilla, almond toast and lacquered oak. A kiss of orange zest and spice, with cocoa and dried-fruit depth, lends creamy, luxurious complexity that invites lingering curiosity.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, this Glenrothes delivers a rich sherry-led sweetness with dark fruit, fig and raisin, intertwined with cacao, orange zest and warming spice. The oak adds backbone and a long, luxurious finish of treacle, toffee and subtle spice.
Finish
Ultra-long, refined finish where sherry sweetness lingers on the tongue—figs and raisins braided with dark chocolate, orange zest and toasted oak. A warming spice persists, leaving a velvety, nutty afterglow with just a touch of drying elegance.
