Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich copper-amber with sunlit mahogany undertones.
Nose
Sherry-soaked notes of dried cherries, figs and raisins, brightened by orange zest. Rich toffee, cacao and roasted almonds mingle with cinnamon and clove, resting on polished oak. A waxy, citrus lift threads through, while faint leather and honeyed traces deepen the maturity and allure.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied and warmly viscous, this Glenlossie delivers sherried richness with fig and raisin fruit, orange zest and toasted almond. Spices rise—cinnamon and clove—over roasted barley, honeyed sweetness and oak. The finish is long, with dried fruit, peppery warmth and a resonant, resinous note.
Finish
Long and luxurious, the finish coats the palate with sherry-tinged sweetness that lingers softly. Dried fig, plum and orange peel mingle with cocoa, almond and toasted nut, while cinnamon and oak spice ebb to a warm, caramel-tinged echo.
