Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery bronze hues and hints of mahogany, a warm, honeyed glow shimmering like aged oak.
Nose
Opulent sherry whispers from time-worn oak, with raisin, fig and dark cherry and a kiss of orange zest. Rich cocoa, toffee and almond mingle with cinnamon and clove, unfolding slowly. An antique warmth and refined restraint hint at decades of maturation and Glenlochy’s silent heritage.
Palate
Silky and opulent, the palate unfolds with fig and raisin sweetness, toasted almond and dark chocolate. Sherry-inspired depth glides through with warm cinnamon and clove, while polished oak lends refined tannins. A long, elegant finish of dried fruit, espresso and leather.
Finish
Long, elegant finish with cacao, dried fig and prune slowly dissolving into orange zest and soft spice. Sherry-tinged oak lingers, delivering a velvety sweetness that folds into polished tannins, leaving a warm, refined dryness and a final whisper of leather.
