The 7th release in the Glengoyne Cask Strength series is the first to feature a small proportion of ex-Bourbon barrels alongside traditional ex-Sherry casks. Bottled un-chillfiltered at 58.9% ABV, Glengoyne Cask Strength Batch No. 007 has been crafted using a combination of first-fill European and American oak Oloroso Sherry casks, refill casks, and ex-Bourbon barrels. The whisky boasts a fruity, malty flavour profile, featuring notes of cinnamon, orange, peaches and honey.
Its warm amber-gold hue is imparted from time and wood alone.

Nose
Fragrant and robust, the nose marries malt sweetness with warm spice. Cinnamon and orange mingle with ripe peaches and honeyed fruit, while a delicate oak backbone hints at sherry and Bourbon casks, lending a resinous, time-worn depth to the aroma.
Palate
Powerful and warming, the palate is malt-forward with ripe peaches and orange zest, woven with cinnamon and honey. Sherry- and bourbon-cask influence adds depth to a full-bodied, slightly creamy texture, finishing long with spice and gentle fruit sweetness.
Finish
Long, warming finish with cinnamon-spice and orange zest, balanced by peaches and honey. A soft maltiness persists, while bourbon vanilla and oak hint at sherry sweetness, fading into a warm, spicy afterglow.
