Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden honey with amber depth and coppery glints.
Nose
Silky sherried bouquet with honeyed orchard fruit—ripe pear and crisp apple—interwoven with dried apricot and orange zest. Layered vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg fold into polished oak, while almond, cocoa and toffee add a delicate sweetness. An elegant autumnal glow, refined and inviting, capturing Glengoyne’s subtle, fruit-forward depth.
Palate
Silky and lightly honeyed, this Glengoyne delivers orchard fruit and creamy malt elevated by sherry richness. Pear and apple mingle with raisin and orange zest, backed by nutty biscuity sweetness. Gentle spice—cinnamon and vanilla—glides into a warm, polished oak finish with a lingering, soft malt echo.
Finish
Long, dignified finish with velvety sweetness and refined oak. Dried fig and raisin mingle with soft spice—cinnamon and clove—while a whisper of dark chocolate lingers, carried on a final kiss of sherry notes. Warm, slightly nutty, and elegant, it lingers softly as memories of autumn moonlight fade.
