Colour

Deep burnished amber with copper-gold edges, a tawny, aged-wood glow that hints at sherry influence and decades of maturation.

Nose

Sherry-rich and opulent, the nose opens with fig and date compote, orange zest, and dried apricot, mingled with raisin and toffee. Walnut and almond lift the nutty frame against polished oak, with vanilla threads and a touch of dark chocolate and spice.

Palate

Silky and substantial, with dried fig and raisin, orange peel and a dense sherry sweetness. Cocoa and toasted almond frame the mid-palate, while cinnamon and clove spice adds lift. Luxuriously long, with a warm, lingering finish of fruit, spice and oak.

Finish

Long, luxurious finish of plump dried fruit, dark chocolate and orange zest, unfolding into graceful cinnamon spice. Velvet oak lingers, leaving a honeyed, almond-tinged glow that slowly fades to espresso and fig.
