Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with burnished-gold highlights and a touch of mahogany at the edges.
Nose
Luxuriously aged aromas unfurl as mahogany and old oak open to a port of dried fruit and sherry. Rich, ruby-fruit depth—raisin, fig, and plum—meld with toffee, dark chocolate, and caramelized nutmeg. A whisper of orange zest, espresso, and polished leather lingers, trailing with a refined vanilla sweetness that coats the senses.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, the palate reveals rich dried fruit—prune, fig, raisin—kissed by velvety toffee and burnt sugar. Sherry depth deepens with espresso-like bitterness and dark chocolate, while orange zest and spice (cinnamon, clove) mingle with polished oak. A warm, lingering finish hints at leather and white pepper, leaving a refined, opulent impression.
Finish
Silky, enduring finish unfurls with dried fruit, orange zest and dark chocolate, rounded by refined sherry sweetness. Subtle spice and toasted oak linger, tapering to a warm, leathery note that persists with quiet elegance.
