Part of the first core range of single malt whiskies from the Speyside distillery Glenallachie following its acquisition in Octber 2017 by a consortium led by ex-BenRiach owner Billy Walker.
The GlenAllachie10 Year Old Cask Strength is bottled at 57.1% ABV and matured in American oak, Pedro Ximénez, oloroso and virgin oak casks.

Bottled at natural colour and without chill filtration with the bottle labels including the words ‘From the valley of the rocks’, a translation of GlenAllachie’s original Gaelic name Gleann Aileachaidh.

Colour
Deep natural amber with a warm honey-gold core, coppery shimmer and subtle mahogany undertones.
Nose
Honey, vanilla, toffee and marmalade lead the aroma, bright and inviting, with a delicate layer of rose hip and Caribbean spices weaving through.
Palate
Velvety and warming, the palate carries honey, vanilla and toffee with marmalade and a delicate layer of rose hip. Caribbean spices weave through rich oak from PX, oloroso and virgin casks, delivering depth, a full body and a long, warming finish.
Finish
Silky honey and vanilla linger into marmalade, with a delicate rose hip lift. Caribbean spices thread through a long, warming finish, while a soft oak presence from the sherry casks leaves a lasting, velvety aftertaste.
