Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-gold with rich amber and mahogany undertones, a warm, luminous hue that glows with vintage depth.
Nose
Mellow yet complex, the nose unfolds a fruit-cake bouquet of wine-soaked raisins, candied orange peel and toasted almonds. Hints of butterscotch emerge, curling over a gently burnt edge that adds quiet warmth and depth.
Palate
Light and creamy with a subtly waxy texture. Flavours of clove-studded fruit yield to a gentle peppery warmth. Richly flavoured and perfectly balanced, it drinks beautifully neat.
Finish
Very long, fruity and warming, the finish lingers with a spicy warmth and a hint of salted plums in the aftertaste.
