Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with radiant copper-gold highlights and subtle mahogany undertones.
Nose
Opulent sherry-nurtured nose, with ripe dark fruits—plum, fig, and raisin—meeting bright cherry and orange zest. Cocoa, toasted almond and vanilla unfold, while cinnamon and clove thread through a polished oak backbone. A faint waxy resin and leather touch add refinement, hinting at depth and a long, graceful evolution in bottle.
Palate
Silky and full on the palate, this Glen Keith reveals a plush core of dark fruit—prune, fig and orange zest—softened by vanilla and toffee. Sherried depth carries through the mid-palate with walnut and cocoa, while nutmeg and clove from the 52% ABV add warmth. The finish is long and elegant, oak-touched, leaving a lingering sweetness and a refined tannic edge.
Finish
An expansive, long finish that coats the palate with luxurious sherry sweetness. Dark fruits—fig, cherry and raisin—mellow into cocoa with toasted almond, while a gentle bloom of cinnamon and nutmeg adds warmth. A silky oak spine sustains a dry, cocoa-toned tail that lingers gracefully.
