Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber with copper-gold highlights and a warm, honey-tinged glow.
Nose
Rich sherry-driven perfume with bright orchard fruits and malt. Dried fig and raisin mingle with orange zest and toasted almond, while vanilla, cinnamon and cedar weave through a waxy, honeyed sweetness. A refined, lingering cocoa-spice complexity hints at the cask.
Palate
Silken and full-bodied, this Glen Grant from a sherry cask unfurls a lush palate. Dried fruits—prune, fig, raisin—mingle with dark chocolate, toffee and orange zest. Spices rise in harmony—cinnamon, clove, a whisper of ginger—while vanilla and toasted oak add depth. The mouthfeel is creamy and velvety, coating with warmth into a long, nutty, cacao-laced finish.
Finish
Long and opulent, the finish unravels with sherry-tinged sweetness—figs, raisins and dark chocolate—folded into polished oak. Warm spice threads through, leaving a silky, lingering velvet that fades slowly to a refined, enduring glow.
