A Glen Grant single malt bottled by Gordon & MacPhail, this 49 year-old was distilled in 1960 and finally released in 2009 at 40 % ABV after long maturation in sherry casks. It was part of G&M’s limited Distillery Labels range, chosen for how beautifully the distillery’s spirit stands up to prolonged sherry wood ageing.
Matured in first fill sherry butts, decades in wood bring rich dried fruit sweetness, gentle spice and depth of oak, complementing Glen Grant’s classic Speyside character of orchard fruit and light floral notes.
