Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany undertones and coppery highlights.
Nose
Deep, warm sherry aromas envelop the glass, with plump dried fruits—raisin, fig, date—kissed by orange zest and a whisper of dark chocolate. Toasted almond, caramel and spice drift through silky oak, while cocoa and nutmeg add quiet depth. The 1st-fill Oloroso elevates richness without heaviness, inviting slow, lingering wafts.
Palate
Opulent and velvety on the palate, this 10-year-old delivers first-fill Oloroso depth with dark fruit and nutty sweetness. Raisin, fig and orange marmalade mingle with milk chocolate, toffee and a whisper of clove and ginger. Rich vanilla and almond unfold against polished oak, yielding a creamy texture and balanced warmth that lingers with marzipan and spice.
Finish
Long, warming finish with bold Oloroso sherry influence: dark raisins and figs, toasted almond, a touch of cocoa and spice, and a lingering oak-framed sweetness that coats the palate.
