Distilled in 1999 and matured for 25 years in a single first-fill Bordeaux hogshead (#816), this extraordinary limited edition single malt was bottled at a powerful 55.4% ABV, with natural colour and non-chill-filtered perfection. The cask strength and wine cask maturation combine to deliver bold character: expect vibrant aromas of red berries, blackcurrant and polished oak, followed by a rich palate of cherry, dark chocolate, malted barley and subtle tobacco with lingering oak tannins.
