Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a rich mahogany sheen.
Nose
Aromas of malt loaf with red berry nougat, dried black cherry, dark chocolate and honey, marmalade on brown toast, toasted vanilla, pineapple, cocoa powder, aromatic spice and oak.
Palate
Sherry-soaked figs and dates unfold with malty, honeyed sweetness, mingling red berry notes, kirsch and dark chocolate-orange. Toasted almonds provide a nutty lift as blood orange and warm spices linger, finishing with a plush, enduring sweetness.
Finish
Dark chocolate and malt loaf linger with toasted oak and aromatic spices. Red berries and sticky figs weave through a waxy orange and muscat grape sweetness, dotted with praline. Woody tannins carry a long, refined finish that coats the palate with warmth and depth.
