Rich sherry notes envelope dried plum and fig, with orange zest and caramelized malt. Toasted almond, dark cocoa and cinnamon weave through polished oak, lending a warm, velvety-spice bouquet.
Palate
Silky on the palate, this 12-year-old Dallas Dhu opens with crisp apple and pear, lightly spiked with citrus zest and honeyed sweetness. Subtle sherry notes lend depth, while delicate almond and spice weave through the malt. The finish is clean and refined, with a soft oak echo and a quiet, lingering glow that speaks to restrained elegance.
Finish
Silky, lingering finish carries red-fruited sweetness and creamy toffee, yielding to gentle spice. Sherry-cask warmth lingers on the palate, with orange zest, toasted almond and a kiss of cocoa, before a long, refined drying oak fades to a soft tobacco note.
