Tasting Notes
Colour
Dark antique amber with copper-tinged edges and a burnished mahogany sheen, glowing with a warm, sunlit richness.
Nose
Rich, dusky fruit greets the nose—damson, fig and date—woven with polished oak and a delicate sherry halo. Orange zest sparkles, while almond, dark cocoa and a touch of spice (clove, nutmeg) lend warmth. An elegant, aged Speyside perfume with quiet, refined sweetness.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied palate layers dried figs, raisins and candied orange with rich sherry sweetness. Nutty toffee and almond unfold into polished oak, a touch of spice and cocoa-tinted depth. The finish is long and elegant, leaving whispers of leather and praline.
Finish
An elegant, lingering finish that unfolds with orchard fruit and a touch of honeyed malt, then opens into a soft sherry sweetness. Dried fig and almond thread through creamy malt, while warm oak and a kiss of spice drift long on the palate, leaving a refined, enduring warmth that lingers gracefully.
