Daftmill is a farm distillery. Owned and operated by the Cuthbert family, it only runs in the farm’s quiet periods; midsummer and winter, sometimes producing as few as 100 casks per year. When not distilling, Francis Cuthbert looks after the estate, growing the malting barley used to make this Lowland whisky.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Green fruits, toasted almonds and herbal nuances rise with sandalwood, building a creamy, inviting baseline. It opens to freshly baked croissants and marzipan, warm and comforting. A splash of water reveals fennel, cumin and butterscotch sweets, adding a delicate spicy lift.
Palate
Initially led by sweet fruits and traditional Scottish tablet, transitioning gracefully into drier fruit tea and herbal undertones.
Finish
Medium in length with an elegant floral undertone.
