Daftmill is a farm distillery. Owned and operated by the Cuthbert family, it only runs in the farm’s quiet periods; midsummer and winter, sometimes producing as few as 100 casks per year. When not distilling, Francis Cuthbert looks after the estate, growing the malting barley used to make this Lowland whisky. The barley variety Concerto was grown and harvested in September 2011. Distilled in July and August 2012 and matured in first-fill American Oak barrels, aged entirely in the cool lower floors of Warehouse No. 1 and bottled at 46% ABV in 2025
Bright and honeyed with layers of orchard fruit and fresh malt. The palate brings citrus zest, barley sugar, and delicate vanilla, with a gentle spice and floral lift on the finish. Elegant, light-footed, and distinctly Daftmill.

Bright citrus zest opens the palate, sheltered by barley sugar and soft vanilla. A delicate spice warms the mid-palate, with a gentle floral lift carrying through to an elegant, light-footed finish that bears Daftmill's distinctive Lowland grace.
Finish
A delicate, lingering finish of gentle spice and floral lift, carried by citrus zest and a whisper of vanilla. It fades slowly to a warm malted glow.
