Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright golden straw with honeyed amber hues and a warm, burnished glow.
Nose
A fragrant, inviting nose of warm vanilla and creamy toffee from first-fill Bourbon, layered with orchard fruits—green apples and pears—and citrus zest. Subtle sugared almonds, soft cereal, and gentle oak mingle with a touch of spice, delivering bright, sun-warmed Lowland sweetness.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied and gently waxy, the palate opens with creamy vanilla, toffee and lemon zest, weaving in green apple and pear. Subtle honeyed sweetness rides a soft oak spice—vanilla, cinnamon—from six first-fill bourbon casks. A light coastal minerality keeps it buoyant, finishing with bright citrus, almond biscuit and a lingering, graceful warmth.
Finish
Long and airy, this finish unveils vanilla and light toffee from first-fill bourbon, carried by citrus zest and orchard fruit. Toasted oak and a gentle spice weave through the swallow, finishing with creamy warmth and a clean, refined fade.
