Copperworks are thought leaders in cementing American Single Malt as a category in USA. Boutique y's first Batch of Copperworks is a delicious Single malt aged in new charred american oak cask. Even though their wash is made without hops, they’re still processed at Elysian Brewery. Some folks can taste a hint of hops lingering on the finish.
Clean fermentation, Forsyths stills in the shape of the more sweet Scotch distilleries and a passion for experimentation resulted in Copperworks winning Craft Distillery of the Year 2018!
The label pictures the two co-founders Jason and Micah, and Jeff, the VP of sales. The heavenly light coming into the room is a nod to Elysian Brewing who partnered with Copperworks in the beginning to design a wash for distillation.

Tasting Notes
Colour
A warm copper-gold with luminous amber highlights, a sun-kissed, honeyed glow that gleams in the glass.
Nose
Bruised apple with the sweetness of Vidalia onion, and a whisper of sweet wood; the wood underpins the aroma with a warm, cask-derived character.
Palate
Huge and mouth-filling, the palate delivers a bold burst of vanilla, toffee and spice, driven by deep cask char from new American oak. Rich and robust, it coats the tongue with warmth and lingers with a persistent, char-driven finish.
Finish
Long and warming, the finish carries charred American oak with vanilla and subtle fruit, with hops lingering on the palate for a final, fragrant kiss.
