This three year old Single Malt Whisky was matured in HighGlen’s signature casks; primarily constructed of specially coopered 100 litre casks made from Ex-Bourbon staves, and Ex-Sherry heads.
Fruit and nut chocolate comes for the fore, the fruits get a little darker with time, plums and black cherry. More rich chocolate on the palate, along with dried peel, spices, caramel, with a slight herbal woodiness.

Colour
Deep amber with coppery mahogany tones and a warm, sun-kissed glow.
Nose
Fruit-and-nut chocolate leads the aroma, cocoa-sweet with vanilla from the ex-bourbon casks. Darker fruit notes unfold—plums and black cherry—evolving with air, while spice and a whisper of herbal oak add warmth and quiet complexity.
Palate
On the palate, a cloak of fruit and nut chocolate leads, darkening into plum and black cherry. Rich cocoa returns with lingering dried peel and spice, braided with caramel. A subtle herbal-woody note threads through, lending savory depth to the supple, velvety malt.
Finish
Finish is long and chocolate-drenched, with lingering dark plum and cherry notes, carried by spice and caramel. Dried peel and a hint of herbal oak thread through, leaving a warm, refined glow.
