Distillery 291 That Boutique-y Whisky Company Batch #1 Rye Spirit Drink

Colour

Pale straw-gold with a bright, sunlit shimmer; a whisper of honeyed amber catching the light.

Nose

Ripe rye grain leads with bright pepper and warm baking spices, a kiss of vanilla and caramel. Citrus zest and cedar drift in as piney resin and faint smoke from oak lift the nose. The high proof keeps it crisp and vibrant, like alpine air wrapped in polished wood and spice.

Palate

Bold, full-bodied palate with assertive rye spice—pepper, clove, and cinnamon—carrying through creamy vanilla and toasted oak. Rich caramel and dried fruit meld with citrus zest, while a faint piney note hints at Rocky Mountain air. Long, warming finish with a gentle sweetness and lingering spice.

Finish

Long, warming finish loaded with rye spice—pepper, cinnamon, and clove—carried on bright citrus zest. A touch of sweetness lingers briefly before a clean, dry fade yields to peppery warmth.
