Waxy honeyed nose with bright citrus zest and green orchard fruit, deepened by sherry-dark notes. Subtle brine and sea-air mingle with oak, vanilla and spice, finishing with mineral wax and a refined coastal elegance.

Palate

Silky on the palate with waxy citrus zest and orchard fruits, unfolding into creamy vanilla, toasted oak and spice. A touch of maritime salt and honeyed sweetness emerges, then hints of almond and dark chocolate as the finish lingers with elegant warmth.

Finish

Long, maritime finish with waxy coastal notes giving way to bright citrus zest, honeyed oak and a kiss of spice. The warmth lingers softly, leaving a refined vanilla and oak glow on the palate.

(KLINE-leash) Established in 1819 by the Marquis of Stafford in 1819, Clynelish was one of the first purpose-built distilleries. In 1823, the distillery became legal under the Excise Act. Unfortunately due to the recession in 1931 the distillery closed and did not open again until the end of World War II.
