Colour
Bright golden straw with a warm honey-amber glow and a faint coppery sheen.
Nose
Sea-salted peat and iodine rise with mineral brightness and a lift of lemon zest. A subtle sherry sweetness threads red fruit and cocoa into vanilla oak, shaping a refined coastal smoke. Brisk, aromatic, and inviting, it promises depth without heaviness.
Palate
Bold maritime smoke coats the palate, tempered by briny iodine and citrus zest. Sherried sweetness delivers dark raisin and cocoa, with vanilla and pepper entwined by subtle oak spice. The finish is long and drying, charged with peat, ash and saline tang.
Finish
Even as the glass warms, the finish unfolds with maritime peat and iodine, a brisk tide of Caledonian smoke. Sherry-derived sweetness brushes in the background—candied orange, raisin, dark chocolate—riffing against a mineral, briny core. The peat remains persistent, leaving a warm, resinous thread of oak and spice that lingers softly, long after the last sip.
